Sendai Studios is casting native speakers of 14 languages and dialects for a multilingual voice project. No experience needed. Just your natural speaking voice.

About the project

We're recording native speakers reading scripted sentences and short passages in their own language. The recordings will be used to build AI text-to-speech (TTS) voices, the synthetic voices for customer service applications.

Sendai Studios, a professional vocal studio in Seattle that has worked with voice actors, audiobook narrators and musicians since 2017. You'll work one-on-one with an engineer who will guide you the whole way. For this project Sendai Studios is sourcing and recording voice talent on behalf of another company specializing in voice data sets.

We are currently casting for two projects with licensing compensation of $1200 per participant requiring a recording session lasting between 2 and 4 hours. Licensing your recorded voice grants the client usage of the recording data to train synthetic voice models. The models will not be personally identifiable to you. Licensing is non-exclusive and will not prevent you from participating in other data collection projects or performing traditional voice over work.

How it works

  2. Record a quick audition demo. After receiving your info we will contact you with a short script to record on your phone for casting.

  3. Get selected. We'll confirm the schedule, pay and release terms with you before you commit to anything.

  4. Record. We will schedule a session for you to record the full script lasting

  5. Get paid. $1200, paid via PayPal within 30 days after recording session .
